This test is for immigrants and non-native speakers of English who want to get permanent resident status in Canada or who are looking to gain entry into future academic or training programs.

CELPIP General

The CELPIP– General evaluates test taker’s English listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills and is officially designated for permanent residence applications by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), and is also accepted for professional designations.

CELPIP LS

The CELPIP – General LS evaluates test taker’s English listening and speaking skills and is officially designated for citizenship applications by IRCC, and is also accepted for professional designations.

The course is offered in 4-skill modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking) for CELPIP General or two skills (Listening and Speaking) for CELPIP LS.

During the preparation course, learners will learn basics of English grammar and vocabulary relevant to CELPIP tests and will be instructed the basics of essays and e-mail writings under a time limit.

Basics of English grammar and vocabulary related to CELPIP tests

Listening tasks, strategies, tips and practices

Reading tasks, techniques, strategies, tips and practices

Writing techniques, tips and practices (E-mail writing & Survey writing)
